In this series of photos I tried to make macro worlds. We would create certain scene's with figurines and photograph it from one of the figurines perspective. In my photo's I grid to use a lot of images at the beach because I feel as though that gave a very good background to my characters. I also tried to use certain figurines who fit the scene and who don't stand out.
Awesome pictures. The one with the tiger is really cool.
ReplyDeleteI like how your pictures are sort of calm and how they aren't all action shots. My favorite is your last one.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Josh! All of your photos are extremely unique and appealing. I appreciate how you used a variety of settings. I especially like your third photo. It looks very realistic and sets a believable scene.
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job creating stories with these pictures. They don't feel stiff at all and all the figures are brought to life. I especially like number 4.
ReplyDeletenice pictures josh. i really like the picture of the lion because it looks real and the characters reaction is how a person would normally react.good job.
ReplyDeleteThis is very strong Micro World series. You do a great job setting the characters with their realistic backgrounds. I really like the second image because it conveys some kind of realism and mood for the viewer. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteJosh these are really great, all of them. you mixed the mood up, sometimes playful and other times dark, but always have a very creative and clever touch. i think your best is number four. the background works in harmony with the terrorized woman, and the lighting (flash?) make it look like a deer caught in the headlights. all the ones at the beach are also very good
ReplyDeleteWow these are all great shots. All very interesting ideas of showcasing microworlds.
ReplyDeleteYour sixth shot was my personal favorite. You did a great job of using a variety of different characters and backgrounds, which made it very interesting and fun to look at.
ReplyDeletethe third one is my favorite one. the background is very interesting.
