In this series of my elliott porter photos i wanted to use similar tactics that i have used in my previous series but i wanted to use different plants. in this series i used many differ t kinds of plants to show different textures and shapes within my photos.

Elliott Porter Draft 2

In this series i tried to do a similar type of photo to my last series. however in this series i tried to go out and find more texture within the plant to give this series a different feel from my last. Porter had many different styles that he used and i am trying to go through and imitate some of his styles.

Elliot Porter Draft 1

In this series i tried to imitate Porters style of close up nature photos. i tried to make sure that i captured images within my photos. i also used water in my images due to the fact that it had rained the night before i photographed.

Portraits with Shapes

In this series i tried to incorporate geometrical shapes into my portraits. I tried using the same background for a while but i decided to use different objects to create a different variety of backgrounds and objects.

Stories

In this series we were supposed to make stories in 5 or less slides. I started with the one on the bottom and on the one in the middle tried to use different view points. we also had to incorporate a plot and resolution into our stories.

Abstraction with Rule of Thirds

In the series we were supposed to combine the idea of abstraction with the rule of thirds. In this batch i tried to incorporate a lot more color. i also tried to make it so they had very rich and bold colors.

Abstraction Draft #2

In this series i tried to make my photos flow a little bit more than my last series. I also tried to use similar means for editing each photo so that they would all have some similarities even though they are all very different images. I also tried to use marco in some of my shots to give a better contrast to the background.
