In this set of photo's I am trying to mimic the style of conceptual portraiture done by Natsumi Hayashi. Natsumi Hayashi is amazed with the perception of time. She started taking pictures of people levitating in her photos because to her it made it seem as though time had slowed down in the frame. I tried to mimic her style by using less colorful backgrounds to make it so my models who are levitating stand out more. I also tried to make my series as similar as i could to Natsumi's photos by using similar backgrounds such as the man levitating next to the parking meter.
