In my group if photo's I am trying to capture leading line. with my leading lines i tried to use a certain amount of depth in each photo to make the leading line more interesting. Using certain effects i also enhanced some of the leading lines to make them stick out more.
I like how the contact in color in this set of images provides a specific mood for every image. You do a great job focusing on leading lines, but I like how you add other concepts that we learned this year. I personally love images that are edited down to reveal a specific theme and I think you did a great job of that.

ReplyDeleteJosh! Great photos. I admire your ability to utilize this theme of "leading lines" by taking a unique and perceptive approach on it. Many of your photos exemplify a different view of the subject or object you are photographing which makes it even more interesting to observe. I especially like your artistic editing you apply to your photographs. It really makes your subjects stand out even more in depth.
ReplyDeletei really like your photos especially the one facing up the telephone pole. you clearly understand the concept of leading lines and put it to good use. the colors are really interesting in the last one and the blue in the the first two make it feel very distant but also engaging in a weird sort of way. the one thing is the second to last photo is really hard to see any detail in it but maybe thats what you were going for. overall really good
ReplyDeleteFavorite shot, bar none, has to be the pole with the staples on it. Beautiful shot, and quite a way to show depth. Your second to last shot was a bit hard to see, but perhaps you were going for the yellow lines to guide our eyes. Apart from that, amazing!
ReplyDeleteI really like these photos. All of them demonstrate leading lines. I especially like the one of the gate to the park. It is really different from the other leading line photos that I've seen.

ReplyDeleteAll of your photos are taken at an interesting angle, not how you would normally look at an everyday object. You also did a great job of leading the viewers eye from the front to the back of the image, creating and interesting effect.
